Nikki Baize knows that skin care is about more than how you look — it’s about how you feel, too.
No matter who we are, where we live or how we spend our days, we all share something in common — the sense of empowerment we find when we feel confident in our skin. At Skin Pharm, we get to witness this daily — and we’re sharing those stories with you through Face Time, a Q+A series that celebrates and elevates members of our community!
The model, interior designer and mom of two’s confidence took a hit in college when she was teased for her dry skin, but you wouldn’t know it now. After two years of investing in medical-grade products and treatments, Nikki’s gained more than just expert skin care advice — she has a palpable sense of empowerment that shines through.
I’ve been coming to Skin Pharm since the day it opened, so two years! I couldn’t resist. I’d heard so many great things about it, so I just had to try it.
My favorite treatment is the Gold Infusion, because you see results right away. It really hydrates my skin and makes me glow, which are the problems I’ve had in the past. It’s perfect for me!
I can’t live without my Gentle Soothing Cleanser, Youth Serum and High Beam!
My relationship with my skin has been very up and down. When I was younger, I got teased a lot for having dry skin, even after I put lotion on. It killed my self-esteem. I didn’t understand that there were protocols to take to hydrate your skin. As soon as Skin Pharm opened in Charlotte, I knew I had to take control right away, so I booked a consultation and began my healthy skin care journey.
I noticed a tremendous amount of change, both in my skin and my confidence. Investing in my skin was the best decision I made two years ago. I’m a full-time model, so it really helps with bookings, and overall, it’s just really been great.
Well, I’m a mom of two, so I rarely get time to myself! Lately, I’ve been waking up early just to get all of my personal tasks done so I can really focus on being a mom when the kids wake up. Having and appreciating the quiet is true self-care. Oh, and I never miss a hair or lash appointment!
