Lauren Zaucha PA-C

Physician Assistant | Chicago, IL

“Aesthetic dermatology allows me to blend technical skill with creativity to achieve natural results my patients feel proud of. I love that this field is always evolving, giving me the chance to keep learning and bring the latest, most thoughtful treatments to my patients.”

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering (graduating cum laude) from Miami University. She went on to complete her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in Chicago.

Lauren began her career as a physician assistant on a multi-specialty surgery team, and it was here that she discovered her love for the intersection of art and medicine. This passion ultimately led her to cosmetic dermatology. She worked as an injector in Chicago and further strengthened her expertise in creating patient-focused treatment plans and natural results. After learning about Skin Pharm through a friend, Lauren applied for the first position that opened up. She joined the Skin Pharm team in 2020 as a provider at the Dallas clinic.

Since then, Lauren has served as Skin Pharm’s Director of Clinical Training, a role in which she mentored and trained providers across all Skin Pharm clinics while working as a national trainer for Galderma. She’s thrilled to return to patient care full-time at Skin Pharm Chicago, where she blends her extensive experience, technical skill and collaborative approach to create natural, balanced results for her patients.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Lauren baking sourdough, trying new coffee shops, reading and perfecting her latest chocolate chip cookie recipe. She enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

A note from Lauren –

I believe subtlety is the key to aging gracefully, and helping patients achieve natural, thoughtful results is at the heart of what I do. I love collaborating with each patient to create a plan tailored to their goals, while continuing to educate and mentor others in the field. Guiding patients and providers alike to feel confident in their choices is truly a “pinch me!” moment in my career.
