Face Time: Up Close and Personal with Hailey Daniels

Good skin makes a good impression.

No matter who we are, where we live or how we spend our days, we all share something in common — the sense of empowerment we find when we feel confident in our skin. At Skin Pharm, we get to witness this daily — and we’re sharing those stories with you through Face Time, a Q+A series that celebrates and elevates members of our community!

For makeup artist and content creator Hailey Daniels, that impression’s part of the job. But the connection between how she feels on the inside and how she looks on the outside makes an even greater impression — one that impacts others and inspires them to feel and look their best, too.

How long have you been coming to Skin Pharm?

I’ve been coming to Skin Pharm for a year. I started in the summer of 2023, and when I first came, I really didn’t know what I needed. I just allowed the staff to put me on a plan that was right for my skin. From the very beginning, I felt beautiful, confident and affirmed in my skin concerns. The providers really educated me on where I needed to go with my skin and how to get me there.

What’s your favorite treatment to get, and how does it make you feel?

I absolutely love microneedling and what it does to the overall appearance and texture of my skin! I really struggled with pigmentation and acne before I started microneedling, and I’ve seen an absolute night-and-day difference. I love how even my overall complexion is. A huge positive to this treatment is that it’s not painful in the slightest! Minimal downtime with big payoff.

What are your top three routine staples?

I know you only asked for three, but I just have to name four! Crystal Clear clarifying pads, 100% Mineral Tinted SPF and Night Watch are holy grail staples for me. I’ve also been known to roll through the carpool lane with coffee in hand and my Clay Time mask on!

Tell us a bit about your relationship to your skin. How has it evolved, and what role does it play in your daily life?

As a hair and makeup artist and content creator, I’m often client- and camera-facing, so it’s important that I feel confident and comfortable with my skin. I want to show clients what they can expect from me as a beauty service, and my appearance is often documented.

More than that, though, your skin can have such an impression on people. What I hope my clients and those who engage with me online get back from my appearance is a reflection of how they want to feel. I want to look healthy. I want to feel healthy, beautiful and confident — whether I’m going makeup-free or going to a formal event. I know my skin reflects the health that I feel on the inside, and I’ve never felt that way until Skin Pharm. The confidence I’ve gained from my treatments and my product use is incredible. It’s something I’ll always be really grateful for, and Skin Pharm did that for me.

Skin care aside, what are some other ways you take care of yourself?

As an entrepreneur and mom of three little girls (pause for gasps), I try to take care of myself so I can feel my best and take care of others — whether that’s my family or clientele. I have a strict early morning date with a reformer at my local pilates studio five days a week.

I also try to drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep and feed myself well-rounded meals throughout the day! Not to say I don’t love a martini and an indulgent meal with my girlfriends or husband, but I absolutely prioritize FEELING my best. In the words of my favorite health girly, Melissa Wood-Tepperberg, ”How bad do you want to feel good?” It’s my daily mantra.
