Our daily routines are full of small rituals.

Whether she’s starting the day with a deep breath or winding down with a good Pinterest scroll, Jaclyn Gibson finds a way to turn everyday moments into meaningful rituals. We caught up with the full-time content creator and mom of four during a recent visit at Skin PharmPlano

How long have you been coming to Skin Pharm?

I’ve been coming to Skin Pharm for about three years.

Which treatment has made the biggest impact on your skin?

Everything Skin Pharm has to offer is amazing, but I’m absolutely obsessed with Moxi! Throughout pregnancy and postpartum, I really struggled with dark spots and melasma, and Moxi has helped so much. After my first treatment, I was blown away!

Which products can’t you live without?

It’s hard to choose between all of them, but I love the Power Wash. I feel like it’s the perfect level of exfoliation. Crystal Clear pads are another favorite. They’re very exfoliating and really get in there the way I need them to. And the Youth Serum truly just feels heavenly on my skin. It’s so hydrating. 

What does self-care look like for you?

Once all of my kids go down, my entire evening routine is one of my favorite parts of the day and definitely serves as self-care! I love getting into bed with my face fully cleansed, exfoliated and glowing like a glazed donut and scrolling Pinterest with a glass of wine or cup of tea. 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

That people are people! Whether I mess up or someone else lets me down, remembering that we’re all human helps me manage my expectations of myself and others. 

What do you love most about living in the Plano area? 

I love the diversity of cultures and people here! We live in such a festive city; there are so many farmers markets, events and opportunities to connect with all kinds of people. I love experiencing different cultures and learning how to appreciate them. 

What’s the wellness hack or habit you swear by?

It’s so important to take a moment for yourself, especially in the morning before starting your day. Have your coffee, read, rest and take a deep breath before going out into the craziness of the world.
