Melanie Richardson NP-BC

Melanie was raised in Germany and moved to North Carolina at age 10. She attended North Carolina State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Nutrition Science in 2014. Following graduation, she obtained a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from Duke University and her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Simmons University.
Melanie has been obsessed with skin health for as long as she can remember. She has an innate passion for helping others and always knew she wanted to pursue a career in nursing and medicine. It was during nursing school that her spark for dermatology and aesthetics was ignited. After working bedside in the PICU for over eight years and as a travel nurse in Chicago for two years, Melanie made the transition to aesthetic medicine and has been injecting ever since.
She learned about Skin Pharm in 2021 and immediately identified with the brand’s values. Melanie believes in enhancing natural beauty through a holistic approach to skin health, and she’s thrilled to join the team at Skin Pharm Raleigh!
Outside of work, Melanie loves pursuing wellness in any form, whether that’s exercising, playing pickleball, a good sauna session, enjoying a meal with family and friends or spending time in Ocean Isle, her happy place.
