Acacia McDonell PA-C

Born outside of Napa, California, Acacia grew up in Texas, where an early love of sports sparked her interest in orthopedics. She studied biology at The University of Texas at Tyler and went on to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Medical Branch.

Before PA school, Acacia worked the front desk for a cosmetic surgeon. Here, she discovered her passion for medical aesthetics and knew it was the place for her. After receiving her master’s, Acacia began her career in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at The San Antonio Orthopedic Group. She then worked in orthopedic trauma for four years before returning to Dallas, where she found her way back to medical aesthetics as a PA. 

Acacia initially learned about Skin Pharm on Instagram, but it was her interview that solidified her alignment with the brand’s vision. She instantly knew this was everything she’d been looking for, and she’s excited to join the team at Skin Pharm Plano! 

Outside of work, Acacia enjoys fitness and weight training, experimenting in the kitchen and trying new restaurants. As a loyal Cowboys fan married to a die-hard Chiefs fan, you’ll find Acacia watching football on Sundays with her husband, Adam.
