Amber Metoyer MSN, FNP-C

Amber was born in Louisiana and moved to Baytown, Texas, near Houston, at a young age. She later made her way to Austin for college, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and became a proud Longhorn. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

After undergrad, Amber began her career as a critical care nurse, building a strong foundation in clinical assessment, advocacy and thoughtful care. In advanced practice, she transitioned into wound care, where she developed a deep appreciation for skin health, tissue repair and patient education. That background now guides her approach to aesthetics: honest, intentional and focused on helping patients feel confident, refreshed and still very much like themselves.

Amber first discovered Skin Pharm after a friend recommended their sunscreen. As she learned more, she felt drawn to the brand’s commitment to natural results, an elevated patient experience and focus on thoughtful care. It’s a place where skin health, education and genuine patient relationships all come together, and Amber is excited to join the team in Austin at The Domain. 

In her free time, Amber enjoys walking by the water, meeting friends for brunch, stopping for fresh flowers and finding a great patio for dinner. She loves the easygoing feel of Austin and everything the city has to offer.
