Josie Barnard PA-C

Josie was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University, graduating summa cum laude in 2016. Following graduation, Josie continued her education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2019.
Josie spent her first four years as a PA specializing in cardiology. This time was marked by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on each patient. While she enjoyed practicing cardiology, she knew cosmetic dermatology was where she belonged.
From her earliest days under the care of a local dermatology physician assistant, Josie learned the importance of skin health and the power of a good skin care routine. With a love for both science and artistry, she enjoys blending the two in her approach to individualized care. At Skin Pharm Houston, Josie finds fulfillment in creating meaningful relationships with her patients. Empowering them to embrace their natural beauty and confidence from within, she guides her patients on a journey to look and feel their best.
