Lauren Berry NP-C

Nurse Practitioner | Charlotte, NC

“Skin Pharm not only supports my autonomy as a practitioner, but provides a platform in which I can safely and confidently help others achieve their skin and aesthetic goals. We know that feeling good about your skin and appearance fosters feeling good in other facets of life. Trusting me to be a part of that transformative process is my ‘why.’”

Lauren was born and raised in Rochester, New York before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina with her family in 2010. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her first master’s degree in the clinical nurse specialist concentration from East Carolina University. Although she loved being immersed in the research and quality improvement aspect of nursing, she missed the direct patient interaction the most. This led her to enroll — once and for all! — at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, to become a family nurse practitioner. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to transitioning to advanced practice, Lauren was an inpatient bedside nurse for 7.5 years. The bulk of her experience was spent caring for critically ill adults. This specialty equipped her with the ability to think critically, flourish in a fast-paced environment and develop meaningful patient relationships. She is hoping to blend these skills with her love for the aesthetics industry to provide the best experience for her Skin Pharm patients.

Aside from work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, friends and family, as well as traveling, exercising, trying new restaurants, wine tasting and meeting new people.

A note from Lauren –

Over the past decade, I have been on my own personal skin and confidence-building journey, which uniquely positions me to understand and empathize with patients who are facing similar struggles. Everyone’s skin is different and unique, which is why I will strive to create a personalized treatment plan that you’re excited about, too. Let’s take it on together!
