Meet the Ingredients Behind Gentle Rinse + Power Wash

Every skin care ritual begins with a refreshing cleanse.

But this first step is more than just a preface to your toner, serums and moisturizer. The best cleansers offer benefits all their own — and these two new formulas ensure every second of that sudsy, soothing start to your routine counts.

When developing Gentle Rinse and Power Wash, we enhanced our existing cleansers with new ingredients — ones that would not only clean your skin, but also support skin barrier function, improve texture and tone, gently exfoliate and so much more. Let’s get to know them, shall we?

Meet Gentle Rinse’s ingredients

This hydrating cream cleanser effectively removes makeup and impurities while nourishing the skin, too. Packed with ingredients that soften, soothe and hydrate, Gentle Rinse is ideal for those with dry and sensitive skin.

Glycerin

Glycerin is a humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, which reinforces the skin barrier and promotes a healthy, hydrated complexion.

Vitamin B5

In addition to keeping skin soft and smooth, vitamin B5 has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe irritation and accelerate healing.

Botanical extracts

Rose flower, cucumber, aloe and galanga contain antioxidants that calm inflammation, redness and irritation.

Vitamin E

Rich in antioxidants, vitamin E aids in anti-aging, healing and moisture retention, too.

Meet Power Wash’s ingredients

When your skin needs a deeper clean, Power Wash’s mildly-exfoliating formula is just the thing. Designed to regulate oil production, reduce redness and improve tone, Power Wash is perfect for those with acne-prone, combination or oily skin.

Papaya extract

This highly-concentrated extract is packed with vitamins A, C, E and K — a powerful combination that hydrates, exfoliates and improves texture and tone.

Salicylic acid

A beta hydroxy acid (BHA), salicylic acid gently exfoliates to improve texture, breakouts and redness while regulating oil production, too.

Botanical extracts

Licorice root, aloe, tea, rosemary and chamomile extracts improve inflammation and irritation to brighten your complexion.

Tiger grass extract

Full of nutrients, natural acids and enzymes, tiger grass extract balances moisture, aids in healing and improves radiance.

Glycerin

This humectant supports a healthy moisture barrier and improves overall skin health.
