The benefits of our new retexturizing therapy are undeniable.
After Hours smooths texture, restores firmness and improves clarity without irritating the skin, but our favorite benefit might be its versatility. It’s effective yet gentle and fits seamlessly into nearly anyone’s routine.
Today, our Nashville provider Carly Smith, MSN, NP-C explains what makes this nightly peptide treatment ideal for all skin types. Get the full episode below or read on for the recap!
One of my favorite things about this product is that truly anyone can use it. It’s ideal for all skin types, including sensitive skin and those who want to focus on anti-aging. It can also be used as an anti-acne treatment at night. It’s pregnancy- and breastfeeding-safe, too!
After Hours balances gentle resurfacing and supportive hydration. It has a mix of azelaic and salicylic acid, which helps decrease redness and brighten your complexion. It also has a botanical blend, antioxidants and ingredients that support the skin barrier. So while the azelaic-salicylic acid blend gets to work, those barrier-protective ingredients help the skin stay calm and comfortable.
After Hours is a treatment step, so apply it after serums and before moisturizer. My favorite place to use it in a routine is after Youth Serum, or your hyaluronic acid serum. Then, apply After Hours and top it off with a moisturizer. If you get keratosis pilaris, those red bumps on the backs of your arms, you can apply After Hours there, too.
I’ve been using After Hours for about a month, and I was able to incorporate it nightly without any irritation or adjustment period. I use it in place of retinol when my skin needs a gentler option. I’ve noticed smoother skin, a brighter complexion, fewer breakouts and a more even skin tone. It really is awesome.
