Skin Pharm founder (and mama to three) Maegan Griffin shares her giftable Mother’s Day must-haves.
1. RANGER STATION CANDLE, $45
We partnered with Nashville-based Ranger Station to make Skin Pharm’s signature scent, but I also love their entire line of candles. You can’t ever have too many, right? And they made this special edition “Thanks, Mom” candle, just in time to gift for Mother’s Day.
2. RATTAN COCKTAIL SHAKER, $25
I’m a sucker for just about anything rattan-wrapped (especially once spring hits!), and this shaker really does it for me. I bought one for each of the moms in my life to gift at our Mother’s Day brunch this year (myself included).
This would also be cute paired with a WithCo mixer to make cocktails or mocktails.
3. PERSONALIZED JEWELRY, price varies
I recently gifted my mom a Yearly Co. bangle with a personalized message engraved, and it was one of my favorite presents to give to date! If you aren’t sure of her size or where to start, a gift card would make a great present!
I also love Consider the Wldflwrs, another local business owned by one of my mama friends. I blame her for sparking my interest in collecting fine jewelry (she showed up on our first lunch date dripping in the most beautiful chains, rings, bracelets and studs).
We all have our own thing — for some, it’s handbags, coats or shoes; for me, it became fine jewelry once I hit my mid-thirties.
4. NECESSAIRE BODY PRODUCTS, $28+
I was sitting with the providers at the Nashville clinic discussing the gift guide this morning, and they had the idea to incorporate a bundle of Necessaire body products.
Clementine suggested The Body Essentials set in sandalwood, while I personally love the Body Exfoliator in bergamot and fragrance-free Body Lotion. (Fun fact, bergamot is also a note in our Skin Pharm candle, so it’s really just laced throughout my entire self-care routine at this point.)
5. TRIBE KELLEY DUSTER, $175
I have this Tribe Kelley butter duster cardi in black and have gifted it to some of my girlfriends, because it’s just that good. I wear it to yoga, while running errands and layer it over my pajamas to wear around the house. It’s so cozy and versatile — I promise she’ll love it!
6. CLAY TIME CHARCOAL MASK, $75
At this point, I need to keep a Clay Time in my shower, one on my bathtub ledge and another on my vanity. I like to apply it in the shower and treat my skin while I’m letting my conditioner soak in, then I gently polish off. While taking a bath, I use it in the same manner, but apply with a mask brush prior to getting in. I also like to keep Clay Time at my vanity and use it as a more formal mask — applying it, sipping tea, then removing with a damp cloth.
I’m particularly proud of the creaminess of this formula. Clay masks can tend to be harsh and drying, but we made sure this one was impactful, yet still gentle. Plus, the natural hint of lavender is so very relaxing.
