Everyone wants the best skin of their life on their wedding day.
But wedding skin prep can look different for everyone depending on timeline and budget. It’s important to consider at-home skin care and in-clinic treatments, too!
Here’s what we’d recommend — and when — to get your skin wedding-ready.
Now’s the time to establish a good at-home skin care routine! If you don’t know where to start, we suggest taking our skin quiz or booking a consultation with one of Skin Pharm's advanced practice providers — they’ll help map out a routine and treatment plan specific to your skin concerns, needs and goals.
Depending on your skin’s condition, a chemical peel is a great way to start — it’s like hitting a 'reset button' for the skin. If you’re interested in Kybella, which has a longer downtime and requires multiple treatments for best results, now’s the time to start, too.
Consider Dysport or Botox here! You don’t want to do your first treatment right before the wedding — give yourself time to adjust and get used to your results.
You can also think about doing a combination treatment, like a BBL photofacial and microneedling. Together, these will help target dark spots, overall texture and tone, while also tightening and brightening. (If your budget only allows for one treatment, choose which skin concern bothers you the most.)
Time for filler! This gives you plenty of time for swelling to go down, but you’ll also have time to tweak if needed — finish your syringe, add more, dissolve some out, do another area, etc.
If needed, now’s a good time to follow up on those initial Botox or Dysport injections, too. You could also consider stacking with another BBL photofacial, a needling treatment or a combination.
Also consider your back and chest, two areas commonly exposed in a wedding dress. We’d recommend a 3-step peel for the back and a BBL photofacial or needling treatment for your chest.
Last chance to freshen up those Botox and Dysport injections, as well as any treatment with downtime, like a BBL or microneedling. (Remember to target your back and chest, too.)
Last but certainly not least, a Gold Infusion! We’ll stamp a cocktail of good-for-you ingredients right below the surface of your skin. This will refine texture, tighten pores and hydrate your skin with minimal downtime before your big day — you’ll be radiant!
